Job Description

Overview

The Vendor Risk Analyst I is responsible for facilitating AmTrusts Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) process and ensuring that the thirdparties involved are managed appropriately in conjunction with departmental leadership. Along with Vendor Risk Analyst II this position will support the Procurement Program Supervisor in facilitating the overall TPRM process. Expectations include: onboarding Vendors into the TPRM platform sending initial risk questionnaires to internal Stakeholders and gathering information security controls evidence from thirdparties on behalf of AmTrust.

Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with and support Vendor Risk Analyst II with facilitating the AmTrust Third Party Risk Management process using related software(s).
  2. Monitor TPRM process ensuring task completions and escalations as needed.
  3. Deliver online information risk surveys to our ThirdParty Vendors
  4. Explain and articulate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
  5. Collaborate with business lines IT Information Risk Management and Legal to identify and address active and potential risks with Vendors.
  6. Maintains a high level of communication with internal Stakeholders and ThirdParty Vendors.
  7. Effectively communicates with several business lines including internal stakeholders thirdparties etc.
  8. Provides education and training to internal staff on program best practices and various TPRMrelated policies.
  9. Performs other related duties as assigned by Manager.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelors degree or 2 years professional experience.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Excellent analytical skills among multiple systems or data sources.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing program needs including technical adoption.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.


Preferred:

  • Prior experience in thirdparty management and / or risk management.
  • Proven interpersonal communication skills.
