The Marine Manager primary function is to Supervise LNG Ship Loading Mooring operations and marine related activities carried out at Rio Grande LNG Terminal (RGLT). The Persons in Charge (one per shift x 5 will report to this position (PICs). The Marine Manager will act as a PIC as required. The role is responsible in assisting the safe and effective of all marine operations enterprise activities. Provide oversight into federal local and international regulations as well as internationally recognized guidelines and best practice allowing Marine Operations to stay ahead of any upcoming changes. This role will ensure that the processes and procedures are in place and adequate to meet the Marine Internal and External standards and requirements. This position will work closely on a daytoday basis with the Marine team Marine Director and various internal departments. The Marine Manager is also responsible for maintaining strong relationships with critical external stakeholders such as USCG government authorities regulators Ship agents Tug contractors Brownsville Port Pilots Mooring provider Ship staff crew surveyors and Customer Marine Representatives.
