Stabilization Therapist LSW/LPC

Pay: $59000 $63000 commiserate with experience and credentials

Signon Bonus: $2500

This is a communitybased position.

NYAP is participating agency in the Great Minds Fellowship and Great Minds Workforce Commitment Incentive Programs.

Stabilization Therapists with National Youth Advocate Program work in the community providing services that make meaningful impacts for youth and their families. This position works with high acuity/ needs youth with the focus of stabilization.Under the general supervision of the Clinical Supervisor or designee this position works closely with youth family foster parents and community partners providing advocacy and support toward the ultimate goal of living safely and successfully in the community.

Responsibilities

Provides appropriate individual group and family mental health services intervention and other evidence basedclinical servicesas required.

Travels daily to provide community basedservices to and on behalf of youth andfamilies incompliance with organizational contract and regulatory requirements.

Coordinates and monitorsclinical servicesfor the youth and family in the community including mental healthspecialeducational services medication management andpsychological services.

Regularly reviews and modifies youthbasedplans.

Establishes andmaintains strongrelationship with foster parents andfamilies of origin.

Assists in family reunification and stabilizationefforts with the youths primary family or other permanent living arrangement consistent with the youths case plan.

Provides safetyassessmentcrisis response and behavioral stabilization servicesas required.

Flexible availability including weekends and scheduledoncall rotation.

Minimum Qualifications

Masters Degree from an accredited institution.

A valid professional license (LSW LPC) as required and acceptable by state or contract regulations.

Experience working with youth and foster care required.

Must have flexible availability including evenings.

Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers smart phones and tablets printers fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing spreadsheet and database programs.

Driving and Vehicle Requirements

  • Valid drivers license
  • Reliable personal transportation
  • Good driving record
  • Minimum automobile insurance coverage of $100000/$300000 bodily injury liability
