Job Description
Responsibilities:
AWS Infrastructure Management:
- Design deploy and manage AWS services such as EC2 RDS S3 CloudFront ELB and VPCs.
- Configure and monitor cloud resources for performance scalability and reliability.
Security & Compliance:
- Implement IAM policies roles and permissions to ensure secure access.
- Manage security groups NACLs and encryption (KMS SSL/TLS).
- Maintain compliance with regulatory frameworks like HIPAA GDPR or SOC
Monitoring & Optimization:
- Set up monitoring tools such as CloudWatch AWS Config or thirdparty solutions.
- Optimize resource utilization and costs using tools like AWS Cost Explorer and Trusted Advisor.
Automation & Scripting:
- Automate infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Develop scripts using Python Bash or PowerShell for maintenance tasks.
Networking:
- Configure and manage VPCs subnets NAT gateways and VPNs.
- Set up DNS with Route 53 and implement networking solutions like Direct Connect.
Backup & Recovery:
- Implement disaster recovery solutions using AWS Backup EBS snapshots and S3 lifecycle policies.
- Manage backups and ensure business continuity.
Troubleshooting & Support:
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure applications and integrations.
- Provide technical support to development teams for AWSrelated tasks.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of AWS core services (EC2 S3 RDS VPN ELB Lambda Route53 etc..
- Handson experience with automation tools like CloudFormation Terraform or Ansible.
- Proficiency in networking concepts (DNS load balancing firewalls etc..
- Familiarity with containerization (ECS EKS Docker) is a plus.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (CodePipeline Jenkins GitLab CI/CD).
