About the Role
ConnectSydney a joint venture ofServiceStreamBoral andJohnson Controls in partnership with Transport for NSW is entrusted with the management of the Harbour Zone. Our responsibilities encompass routine maintenance strategic enhancements and specialised projects aimed at bolstering Sydneys transport infrastructure.
We have anewly created opportunityfor aProject Engineerwith experience in slope remediation works and culvert and drainage replacements to join us.
About the role
In this role you will assist in the management coordination and delivery of all pavement delivery activities. This will include monitoring and reporting.
Key responsibilities will include:
Delivery of slope remediation and culvert & drainage projects through to completion and submission of all deliverables on time to budget and to quality standard as agreed with project manager.
Preparing updating and implementing the portfolio list of project works.
Inconsultation with your manager managing all contractors and staff who deliver projects.
Preparingthe list of deliverables / tasks from each project and transferring to the baseline design Schedule.
Developing the delivery phase and interfacing activities.
Interfacing with internal and external design team for the design requirements.
Liaising with the client site and vendors on aspects of the delivery phase and documentation work and organise meetings with them as required.
Diagnosing design related issues and resolves through documentation or escalation to senior management.
Participating in active continuous improvement of processes proceduresriskand systems.
Project management activities for maintenance / construction of road infrastructure structural corridor tunnel and ITS projects.
About you
Our ideal candidate will have:
Degree qualification in Engineering (Civil Electrical or Mechanical).
Around 5 years of experience or exposure to civil electrical or mechanical engineering.
Demonstrated experience in delivering slope remediation projects.
Project management experience and understanding of planning scheduling functions.
Strong communication skills ability to problem solve and resultsdriven approach.
