Job Description
Job Summary:
The Clinical Social Work Fellow position provides patient care to the diverse outpatient population of the Child and Adolescent Outpatient Psychiatry clinic. Duties will include providing comprehensive care through assessment psychotherapy with individuals families and groups and referral to outside services as needed.This is a post masters Social Work two year commitment to work within the Child & Adolescent Clinic and gain additional experiences within Upstate.
Minimum Qualifications:
M.S.W. L.M.S.W. or eligible*New M.S.W. graduates who are LMSW or eligible. Should employment continue beyond 6 months incumbent must become L.M.S.W. no later than by the completion of their first year of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working in an Ambulatory Hospital setting with high risk youth preferred.
