Job Description
Responsibilities
Noblis MSD is seeking a candidate with experience in Training Administration to work as Manpower Personnel and Training (MPT) Coordinator supporting U.S. Navy ships Modernization. Primary work location is San Diego CA but periodic travel may be required. Using a tailored MPT Wide Area Network application the selected candidate is expected to:
- Manage inhouse and Navy programs/processes to monitor training requirements.
- Review ships manpower/manning status and projections.
- Track prospective gains on Permanent Change of Station orders.
- Identify and correlate alteration related training requirements.
- Liaison with Navy learning centers InService Engineering Activities Alteration Installation Teams and others to coordinate crew training.
- Create individual training tracks for service members.
- Provide school quota management and document completed and future training schedules.
- Prepare submit and brief periodic status reports as a measure of crew training. Comprehensive end of availability training reports are used to document training accomplishments in preparation for a successful crew certification.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree or Associates Degree plus 3 years of experience OR High School plus 6 years of experience.
- Knowledge of Navy Training systems policies and procedures.
- Well versed with major Navy Training databases such as Fleet Training Management Planning System (FLTMPS) Corporate Enterprise Training Activity Resource Systems (CeTARS) Catalog of Navy Training Courses (CANTRAC) and Enterprise Navy Training Reservation System (eNTRS).
- Familiarity with Navy Enlisted Occupational Standards Navy Enlisted Classifications and Navy detailing systems.
- Familiarity with Joint Travel Regulations and Navy Military Personnel Manual articles affecting military travel entitlements and deductions
- US Citizenship and current Active Secret Clearance.
- Current passport.
- Some travel may be required.
Desired Qualifications
Effective written and oral communication skills
Functional knowledge of MS Office suite and webbased tools and applications
Ship maintenance modernization and maintenance availability experience a plus.

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors including but not limited to the combination of education certifications knowledge skills competencies and experience internal and external equity location clearance level as well as contractspecific affordability organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this positionis based on full time status. For part time or oncall staff compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important its just one component of Noblis total compensation package.
