Job Description
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee and ensureaccurate timely and GAAPcompliantmonthly quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Managefinancial planning budgeting and forecastingprocesses aligning financial goals with company objectives.
- Preparemanagement reportsand provide financial analysis to support strategic decisionmaking.
- Coordinate and manage audits ensuring compliance withSOX SEC and other regulatoryrequirements.
- Oversee accounting related to M&A activity
- Establish and enforceinternal controls accounting policies and best practicesto safeguard company assets and ensure operational efficiency.
- Oversee and ensure compliance withsales tax state and federal tax filings.
- Implementcost control measuresto improve financial performance and efficiency.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting and CPA preferred
- 10 years of public accounting and related corporate experience
- Must have strong knowledge ofGAAP technical accounting skills and financial reporting experience
- Knowledge of federal state and local tax compliance
- Proficiency in financial software/ERP systemsand implementations
