Job Description
Join the areas largest independent fullline authorized provider of the industrys top three manufacturers for copier printer and multifunction product (MFP) technology as a Production Field Service Technician. The Production Field Service Technician with Ford Office Technologies is a professional who will travel to client locations and provide customer support for the installation and maintenance of network connected copiers printers and scanners.
Requires a combination of technical and critical thinking skills along with experience working with Production equipment.
Historically this role has been Butler to Connellsville PA
- Coordinate with the IT staff to assist in resolving underlying problems with the network or the need for any new firmware.
- Install and configure devices identify and resolve malfunctions/failures within the hardware or software system.
- Diagnosing and fixing equipment malfunctions or breakdowns either onsite or remotely.
- Provide technical support to customers answering queries and resolving issues.
- Maintain accurate records of installations maintenance activities and repairs. This may include creating service reports and updating documentation.
- Troubleshoot: Identifying and resolving technical problems both proactively and reactively.
- Safety: Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines while working onsite.
- Complete required training.
- Obtain needed certifications especially for new products.
