The Office of Audit Risk and Compliance is currently searching for an Office Coordinator to perform a wide variety of administrative activities within the office. If you are a resultsdriven organized professional with a friendly demeanor and a strong attention to detail this could be the job for you!
Reporting directly to the Project & Operations Manager and seated in the Office of the Audit Risk and Compliance (OARC).
Providing administrative support to OARC including the Vice President for Audit Risk and Compliance & Chief Risk Officer and the Chief Audit Executive.
Providing support in tracking metrics for office reports in Microsoft Word and Excel particularly for the internal audit team.
Coordinating calendaring for OARC leaders team trainings and governance committee meetings.
Practicing excellent customer service ensuring that the office environment is welcoming and inclusive and dealing with confidential and sensitive matters with the utmost discretion and tact.
Serving as the daytoday liaison with the Executive VP & Chief Operating Officers (EVPCOO) fiscal team and primary OARC requestor in the ServiceNow ticketing system.
Assuming responsibility for managing office communications including emergency and maintenance matters as well as office functions and gatherings.
Interacting extensively with support staff of senior university administration and represent the office and the division in a professional and courteous manner.

Required Qualifications
Prior professional experience:
As an administrative or executive assistant.
Facilitating meetings and events along with managing multiple electronic calendars.
Drafting written correspondence with the ability to communicate in a professional positive and officeappropriate manner.
Coordinating projects.
With accounting processes and procedures including knowledge of general accounting principles (i.e. processing invoices preparing travel vouchers preparing spreadsheets and processing reimbursements.
Operating computer systems such as Windows and Microsoft Office Suite with a strong proficiency in word processing spreadsheet preparation and utilization database entry/maintenance retention and inventory systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience:
In a customer service position in an academic setting.
With university systems like ServiceNow Chrome River and HokieMart.
In Higher Education or nonprofit/philanthropic setting.
Demonstrated ability to:
Work independently with little supervision and operate within a teambased environment.
Utilize strong organizational skills that include the ability to prioritize tasks manage time effectively and perform multiple functions simultaneously.
Exercise strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Establish and maintain successful and effective relationships with various stakeholders.
Employ a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
