What youll get to do:
Lead and manage a team of mechanical engineers and designers.
Ensure project integrity budget adherence and client satisfaction.
Drive business and client development activities to identify new opportunities.
Oversee design calculations specifications and CAD drawings using AutoCAD and MicroStation.
Provide technical oversight on energyrelated mechanical systems including piping thermodynamics and material specifications.
Prepare project proposals schedules and cost estimates.
Conduct compliance reviews develop processes and optimize energy station designs.
Handle project administration tasks including billing and invoicing (experience with Deltek VantagePoint is a plus).
Represent the firm in project meetings preconstruction visits and client site reviews.
Collaborate with crossdisciplinary teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
Travel domestically up to 10 annually.
What will make you successful:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
810 years of experience in mechanical engineering; prior group management experience preferred but not required.
PE license preferred. PMP certification and NCEES record are a plus.
Proficiency in design construction operation and maintenance of mechanical systems with expertise in energy projects.
Knowledge of codes such as CFR 49 Parts 192/195 and ASME/ANSI B31.4/B31.8 is preferred.
Experience in processrelated design pipe stress analysis thermodynamics and facility piping.
Familiarity with AutoCAD and MicroStation; HDD experience is a bonus.
Strong communication leadership time management and organizational abilities.
High attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality results.
