Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Directs workers in electrical electronic mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.
- Assists workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
- Coordinates with other management staff to ensure efficiency in preventative maintenance and new equipment installation.
- Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
- Directs workers engaged in dismantling assembling and installing industrial machinery.
- Requisitions and keeps supply of spare parts.
- Modifies programming of robots and related equipment such as robot controllers and programmable controllers.
- Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment.
- Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
- Interprets specifications blueprints and job orders to workers and assigns duties.
- Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
- Recommends measures to improve production methods equipment performance and quality of product.
- Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop department or work crew.
- Sources and oversees contracts and service providers for functions such as cleaning parking security and technology.
- Ensures that basic facilities are wellmaintained conducts proactive maintenance and meet compliance standards and government regulations.
- Oversees renovations refurbishments and building projects.
- Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems.
- Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
- Maintains time and production records.
- Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.
Who were looking for:
- BA or BS degree in a technical discipline; and 8 to 12 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team generating results with general/minimal guidance from management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with professional presentation and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively apply MS Excel and other analysis tools to realworld problemsolving
- Must be flexible innovative and comfortable in setting own priorities
- Strong organization and planning skills
