Job Description
1. Procurement Strategy:
- Design and implementation of effective procurement strategies with the centralization of procurement of the organization.
- Identify costsaving opportunities and process improvements.
- Evaluate and select suppliers negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
- Monitor supplier performance with periodic review publication of supplier rating chart and enforce contract terms.
- Identify and onboard new suppliers when necessary.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet production and operational requirements.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize carrying costs and stockouts.
- Analyze pricing trends market conditions and cost structures to optimize procurement costs.
- Implement costsaving initiatives and value engineering programs.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with relevant laws regulations and ethical standards.
- Develop and enforce procurement policies and procedures.
- Supervise and lead a team of procurement professionals.
- Provide guidance training and performance evaluations.
- Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Resolve disputes and issues with suppliers in a timely manner.
- Develop and manage the procurement budget.
- Monitor expenditures and control costs effectively.
- Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure the quality of procured goods and services.
- Implement quality standards and supplier audits.
Experience in the procurement of forgings castings and other allied products
