Job Description
Job Overview:
The Technical Writer who will be part of the contracts function is responsible for generating innovative ideas for content while working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. The position will interview our Products Sales Engineering and other technical personnel to describe current products services technology or concepts to be documented and easily understood by a broad audience and will continue to stay current in Exostar product and service offerings.

- Determine the clearest and most logical way to present information for the greatest reader comprehension.
- Generate innovative ideas for content and workflow solutions.
- Meet with subjectmatter experts to ensure specialized topics are appropriately addressed.
- Analyze information required for the development or update of policy procedure and form documentation.
- Review and/or copyedit content developed by other members of the team.
- Maintain a library of proposal templates and past proposals.
- Manage multiple proposals simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

- Ability to check all technical material for consistency and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications:
You are exactly who we are looking for if you:
- Have 2 years of experience in either government or commercial proposals.
- Can research write and edit technical proposals in response to RFPs RFIs and other solicitations.
- Hold a Bachelors degree in English Communications Technical Writing or a related field.
Location: Herndon VA Hybrid 2x/week)
