Job description
Summary:
The Senior Production Manager will oversee and manage production shift employees and ensure compliance with safety quality and quantity standards.
Essential Function:
Understand client needs via regular communication with the Account Manager.
Ensure that job site quality and appearance meet client and MNLSA standards.
Manage all landscape services including the coordination of all materials people equipment and subcontractors required to produce quality work.
Inspect properties prior to scheduled service in order to properly prepare specific action plan for service. Adjust schedule as needed and follow up.
Monitor irrigations systems identify problems or necessary repairs and communicate recommendations to the appropriate party.
Monitor all aspects of the landscape and identify problems.
As necessary perform handson work with crews to meet work and scheduling demands.
Implement and enforce MNLSAs policies and procedures related to proper upkeep and maintenance storage use and training required for branch equipment.
Work with the Account or Branch Manager to identify staffing needs hire new crew members and prepare daily crew schedules.
Handson training and support of crew members including proper operation of equipment pruning techniques safety and quality standards.
Focus on safety and monitor safety records.
Maintain and manage all required paperwork.
Coordinate with Branch Administrator to ensure branch databases are consistently updated with current client information.
Order materials as needed and monitor costs and deliveries.
Request purchase orders and use in accordance with company guidelines.
Must uphold company policies procedures and company core values at all times

Supervisory Responsibility:
This position supervises laborers on the field.
Work Environment:This position requires physical abilities such as strength manual dexterity and must be able to perform all required functions of this position. While performing the duties of this job the Senior Production Manager is regularly required to stand walk bend lift crouch reach stoop or kneel. The position is regularly exposed to outdoor environmental conditions including extreme hot and cold conditions. Additional working conditions may include inadequate lighting restricted movement and dirty/wet worksites. This position may be required to work on weekends holidays and in emergency situations (oncall responsibilities). Due to seasonal nature of work some peak load situations may arise.
Qualifications Required
3 years of Production Manager experience
Landscaping industry is required candidates without commercial green industry experience will not be considered
Valid Texas Drivers License
Bilingual in Spanish is a huge plus
Bilingual is a plus but not required
