The IT Enterprise Business Technology Office (BTO) Corporate Technologies department has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced senior developer passionate about using technology to solve and automate business needs and processes. This successful candidate will be part of IT development maintenance & support work across Corporate and Technology Finance systems. This candidate will need to work well in a technical team environment operating independently with limited oversight.

The Enterprise BTO provides endtoend delivery (concept to implementation) for a portfolio of projects products and business initiatives sponsored by various business divisions
Delivery of Finance planning and reporting solutions to effectively perform financial functions and support data analysis
Delivery of integrations between Finance systems and other systems
Delivery and support of solutions for the Finance data platform to enable effective data analytics and reporting
Collaboration with other technology teams to advance our technical capabilities automate and optimize processes to meet business challenges
Ensure we understand and address business needs applying a variety of innovative technology solutions including COTS SaaS and homegrown capabilities
Drive technical innovation and stay up to date on the emerging technology trends
Work with project collaborators in reviewing and understanding business and technical requirements
Research and evaluate technology solution options including build versus buy or a combination
Partner with architects project and infrastructure teams to develop architecture and design specifications from which applications will be built
Provide guidance on coding and unit testing standards for optimal code quality and reuse
Prototype and develop systems based upon requirements and architecture specifications
Provide technical expertise and oversight on various projects in a handson capacity while mentoring developers on the team
Lead and participate in design code and other relevant project reviews
Lead and support production incident tracking resolving critical issues.
Lead and support infrastructure upgrades patching and vulnerability remediation activities impacting business applications
Work closely with testing and infrastructure teams during project and operational activities to resolve blockers and issues
Bachelors Degree in Information Technology Computer Science Engineering or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Typically has 5 years related experience
Deep technical and analytical skills with the ability to analyze system functionality and resolve issues
Strong Front and Back End Development Skills: Python Java full stack Angular Unix shell scripting
Solid understanding of relational databases SQL and data modeling
Good understanding of Information and application security including LDAP certificates public key encryption SSH access credentials etc
Understanding of typical multitier architectures: web servers caching application servers & load balancers
Experience building and maintaining test automation suite to fully test the applications and features
Experience using automation / CICD pipeline integration tools (Jenkins GIT Bitbucket Artifactory etc.
Experience with Tableau or BI tools with strong analytical skills
Experience in Financial Services industry preferably with experience with financial accounting planning and reporting technologies
Experience working with the Atlassian suite of tools specifically JIRA
Collaborate and build strong working relationships
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Communicate effectively within a matrixed organization
Motivated to learn new technologies and identify process improvements and efficiencies
Steadfast pursuit of continuous improvement opportunities
Ability to mentor junior staff on technical and business skills
Ability to guide the strategic implementation of reporting solutions
Enjoys working with numbers and financial data visualizing and conceptualizing data
Can easily shift focus between high priority tasks

This position has an annualized marketbased salary range of $116000 $174000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position experience skill set internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.Full-Time
