Job Description
Responsibilities
- Invehicle Infotainment System Feature Definition and Interaction Design: Lead the definition and design of vehicle and mobile app user interaction systems including application launching user profile management settings vehicle soft controls and notification systems across a variety of vehicle configurations and screen sizes.
- Mobile Companion Application.
- Creative Direction: Define the visual styles for various vehicles and personalizations ensuring consistency and a worldclass aesthetic that resonates with users.
- System Applications: Oversee the design of systemlevel applications such as Settings Owners Guide and Onboarding to ensure usability coherence and delight.
- Framework Development: Develop system frameworks for notifications chimes and other foundational elements to create a seamless and cohesive user experience.
- CrossTeam Collaboration: Partner with application design teams to ensure the System UI meets their design and business needs while delivering a unified user experience.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Build lead and mentor a team of UX/UI designers fostering a culture of creativity collaboration and continuous improvement.
- HighQuality : Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure pixelperfect implementation of designs rigorous testing and iteration to maintain quality and meet stakeholder needs.
- Innovation and Trends: Stay ahead of industry trends integrating emerging technologies and design innovations to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Design HMI Interaction Design or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in UI/UX design with a proven track record of innovative and successful projects.
- Demonstrated leadership experience preferably in automotive or technology sectors.
- Proficiency in a variety of visual styles and an ability to adapt designs to different contexts.
- Expertise in usercentered design principles iterative testing and quality assurance processes.
- Exceptional communication presentation and stakeholder influence skills.
- Strong collaboration skills with experience working closely with crossfunctional teams including engineering and product management.
- Experience collaborating directly with software and hardware engineers to achieve the desired experience.
- Passion for automotive innovation and emerging technologies.
