To ensure that Smiths Concrete products are delivered to customers in a timely efficient and courteous manner

Key accountabilities
To ensure the vehicle and all equipment entrusted to you is properly maintained kept in clean condition and that all vehicle records are correctly maintained as required by the current legislation and company procedures
To comply with the relevant company personnel and administration policies and procedures
To ensure that all health & safety working time directive and road transport regulatory requirements are followed
Ensure that all waste disposals water discharges and dust emissions are dealt with in accordance with the Environmental procedures
Carry out deliveries in the most cost effective and efficient manner
Ensure attendance to the operating unit is timely and consistent with meeting the requirements of the company
To perform any other relevant duties as requested by your line manager
