As a Process Control Technician you will lead all aspects of the management configuration and testing of Manufacturing System (MES) Applications and all supporting automation. You will build and handle business processes and procedures for these systems through worldwide collaboration!
Responsibilities and Tasks
Set Up and Maintain Process Control and Traveler Systems
Implement Process Control Systems Processes and Procedures Minimize Risk Improve Area Efficiency and Product Quality
Perform GeRM and Traveler maintenance as requested via GCPs
Maintain RFM (Recipe File Manager) RPA (Recipe Parameter Adjustment) and LMS (Lot Management System) setup as applicable for area business rules
Implement conversions and Qual System setup and management
Understand the impact that changes made in one system may interact with another system or program. (If a change is made in one area/system how it does affect other areas/systems)
Provide setup options to customers while adhering to area business rules
Setup and maintain data collection systems to facilitate area data collection and process control requirements
Build and maintain MTSPACE charts and systems and Sigma specs/CIM
Troubleshoot data collection issues as required using available software
Consult with senior members (engineers) of the Process Control Team and Traveler Control Team for all requests that include new solutions not described in the BKM (best known methods) documentation
Own the GCP system in a way that minimizes risk to the Fab and supports cycle time service level agreements and KPIs
Accurate use of comments and signoffs for all maintained systems
Prioritize tasks for maximum efficiency incorporating department priorities
Completes all required classes (required to be 100 certified on core profiles as defined by Workforce Development Group) and applies learned skills and techniques onthejob
Demonstrate awareness of process changes and conversions
Provide afterhours oncall support for the ab
Provides detailed and accurate pass down for backup coverage
Reporting
Team members assess their weekly workload in relation to established KPIs
Knowledge and routine use of Data Navigator Reporting Systems
Generate various comparisons for Process Management systems. Example: Compare requested set up verse actual setup
Generate various comparisons for Process Control systems
Understand how to search for Remedy and ERS/BSCM cases
Understand and Support Performance Management Systems such as Success Factors and IPP Goals
Collaborates with supervisor to develop and lead continual achievement of goals and objectives
Ensure that goals and area initiatives align with Strategic Objectives
Commits an appropriate amount of time (whatever approach works best for you no less than monthly) to document opportunities and examples that demonstrate Micron behaviors
Focus is on quality of content rather than quantity
Review and understand assigned IPP goals and line of sight to your job role
Establish and Maintain Effective Relationships
Assist in communication and action item management as
Provide periodic follow up on actions as needed
Align with Company and Department Policies and Group Expectations
Maintain a clean and safe working environment by proactively assessing the work (and surrounding) area and submitting work orders as needed
Recognize and react to safety alarms (EES EHS fire alarm MDA etc.
Remain within Microns attendance policy
Display a positive demeanor toward Micron and its policies
Hold self and other team members accountable for adherence to all companywide safety procedures (PPE EIPS)
Observe all established EHS policies requirements and procedures
Cooperate with all audits
Required Qualifications:
Knowledge and understanding of Process Control Systems (GeRM Sigma ET SPACE Qual System CIM Central) and Traveler Control Systems (Traveler Maintenance Step Maintenance Corr Items LMS QTime)
Knowledge and understanding of Conversion Business Process
3 years of Fab experience
