As a Podiatrist you will conduct comprehensive assessments implement effective treatment plans and deliver exceptional patient education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough assessments of patients foot health including biomechanical evaluations and gait analysis.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidencebased practices and patient needs.
- Perform various procedures including nail care callus removal and wound care management.
- Offer advice on proper footwear orthotics and rehabilitation exercises.
- Maintain detailed patient records and ensure compliance with clinical protocols.
- Engage in patient education and community outreach regarding foot health awareness.
Requirements - Bachelors or Masters degree in Podiatry from an accredited institution.
- Registration with the Podiatry Board of Australia.
- Previous clinical experience in podiatric practice is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
- A commitment to lifelong learning and keeping current with advances in podiatric care.
