We are seeking an
Application Support Agent for EUDAMEDto join our team in Brussels.
Description of the project:As a fulltime employee you will be part of the application support team at the DirectorateGeneral for Health and Food Safety (DG SANTE). You will be responsible for the support of the European database on medical devices (EUDAMED) an online platform that provides a living picture of the lifecycle of medical devices that are made available in the European Union (EU). It will integrate different electronic systems to collate and process information about medical devices and related companies (e.g. manufacturers). In doing so EUDAMED aims to enhance overall transparency including through better access to information for the public and healthcare professionals and to enhance coordination between the different Member States in the EU.
Description of tasks:- Act as the first contact point for all endusers questions on EUDAMED.
- Analyse categorise prioritise and dispatch the endusers requests.
- Ensure the followup of requests and escalate the tickets to the relevant stakeholder when necessary.
- Ensure and perform all communication with the endusers according to the services procedures and in accordance with the agreed KPIs.
- Provide services to all stakeholders according to ITIL best practices; handling and documenting all requests.
- Keep the internal knowledge up to date by documenting all relevant information.
Knowledge and skills:- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong analytical problem solving and learning skills.
- Knowledge of support ticketing system processes.
- Knowledge of Atlassian tools (JIRA Confluence) is a plus.
- Knowledge of MS Office & MS 365 (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint Teams SharePoint).
Languages
- Excellent oral and written command of English is required any additional language is a plus.
Desirable
- Knowledge of EU Institutions (health policy is a plus).
- Knowledge of/or experience in ITIL environment.
Other requirements:- EU Citizenship.
- Resident or available to relocate to Belgium.
