Job Summary

Hopkinsville Community College invites applications for our parttime Philosophy adjunct faculty pool.

These are temporary parttime positions used to fill classroom vacancies as needed when regular fulltime faculty are not available due to increased enrollment workload or scheduling: days evenings weekends and/or online.

Job Duties:

Plans and carries out instruction instructional activities and prepares learning materials for special studies. Provides instructions to students in both theory and practice in the particular area of instruction. Prepares lesson plans and maintains records and reports on student attainment and progress. Maintains classroom order and discipline.

Minimum Qualifications:

Masters degree in Philosophy or a Masters degree with at least 18 graduate semester
hours in any combination of the qualifying fields. Qualifying fields are ethics logic and philosophy. We are interested in adjuncts who can teach the class in person and/or online.
