Job Description
This position is full time onsite in Arlington VA. Given the unique mission and classified nature of the work there is no opportunity for hybrid or remote work arrangements.
As a Senior Systems Engineer you will:
- Provide seniorlevel guidance and engineering for AWSbased solutions in a DoD SAP environment.
- Design implement and maintain onpremises and cloudbased infrastructures including AWS and VMWare environments
- Ensure alignment with security compliance and operational requirements.
- Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure secure integration of AWS solutions with other systems and technologies.
- Conduct system performance tuning hardware upgrades capacity planning and resource optimization as required.
- Act as a senior problem resolution resource diagnosing and resolving complex system operational issues.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Active DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI poly.
- BS in Computer Science Systems Engineering Information Science Engineering or a related technical subject. Work experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 8570 IAT level II certification (i.e. Security CCNA Security CySA GICSP CND SSCP)
- 35 years of experience with cloud computing environments such as Amazon Web Services (AWS).
