Job Description
Here is an opportunity for an Upgrade Technician to join our Customer Support Department.
Were looking for an Upgrade Technician that will be responsible for upgrading software/systems for our retail clients afterhours. The successful candidate will be working a 4 x 10 hour shifts per week. The typical working hours for this position are between 16:00 pm and 2:00 am this way the candidate will be making sure our clients experience no downtime during their trading hours. To be successful in this role you need to have a keen eye for detail. You will be challenged from time to time and will rely on your ability to problem solve and use initiative.
If youre a recent graduate well be happy to consider your application based on theoretical experience only. Its our preference for you to have at the very least an A and N certificate.
It will be advantageous if you have previously worked with software upgrades in a retail or FMCG environment and if you know the basics of MS SQL. Please note that this position is based at our Head Office in Parklands.
