Collins Aerospace has an opportunity for a Painter I position this position will be working in on site capacity at the Opa Locka FL facility.
Shift: Second Shift 5 days x 8 hours Mon Fri 2:45 pm 11:15 pm)
What You Will Do:
- Utilize work instructions technical data and experience to support production by painting aircraft landing gear components.
- Use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) during operations.
- Must properly document work performed update daily logs and support preparation for final inspection of parts.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- HS Diploma. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED 2 years of relevant experience is required.
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen permanent resident or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: We Prefer:
- Ability to Interpret blueprints and overhaul manuals for disassembly purposes
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to operate hand tools electrical and pneumatic tools

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.
