The University of Miami Health System UHealth Information Technology Department has an exciting opportunity for a Fulltime Epic Senior Analyst Willow.
The Epic Senior Analyst Willow oversees and leads the Associate Epic Analysts and Epic Analysts on the team. The Epic Senior Analyst Willow initiates the implementation builds and modifies of the application and collaborates with key stakeholders endusers and application team members to optimize the applications configuration function and access. The incumbent supports junior staff members in daytoday operations and resolving application issues.
Core Responsibilities
Serves as a primary support contact for application endusers.
Initiates the design development implementation and maintenance of the application.
Initiates all phases of testing and the documentation of workflow design.
Performs the analysis of information technology in clinical work processes and validates the impacts to the workflow.
Initiates the identification of issues and guides the work to resolve them.
Supports junior staff members in the evaluation and resolution of service tickets identification and implementation of application changes retrieval of requested data and of daytoday operations.
Collaborates with trainers on application changes and new features to develop documentation and training strategies.
Works with stakeholders the business community and end users to ensure the application meets UHealths business/clinical needs.
Participate in oncall rotations and support and attend and participate in applicable committees.
Maintains regular communication with team members including participating in weekly project team meetings.
Review. the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadership.
Remains knowledgeable about UHealths policies procedures and business operations.
Adheres to University and unitlevel policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.
Department Specific Functions

Travel to the job site during golives conferences rounding and/or senior leadership meetings.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in relevant field
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Epic Willow Inpatient Certification required
CPhT Certification
Minimum of 5 years of experience preferably in healthcare or healthcarerelated organization
At least 3 years of Epic build experience preferred.
Previous operational project management and organizational skills preferred
Clinical knowledge of how various medications should be orderedpreferred
Familiarity with pharmacy workflows including dispensing and clinical monitoring preferred
Ability to work evenings nights and weekends as necessary.
Proficiency in computer software (i.e. Microsoft Office).
Ability to recognize analyze and solve a variety of problems.
Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
Ability to lead motivate develop and train others.
Any relevant education certifications and/or work experience may be considered.
