Job Title:System Test Technician (Night & Weekend Shifts)
Location:Mountain View CA
Employment Type:Contractor6 Month contract

About the Role

We are seeking aSystem Test Technicianto support our test operations during night and weekend shifts. This role involves configuring maintaining and troubleshooting integrated test assets. The ideal candidate will have strong handson experience with electromechanical systems and a proactive approach to problemsolving in a fastpaced test environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite support for test teams conducting component and systemlevel testing.
  • Configure and upgrade test assets as needed to meet testing requirements.
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical drawings for assembling test fixtures and harnesses.
  • Perform routine maintenance inspections and troubleshooting on HardwareIntheLoop (HIL) test stations.
  • Document all configuration changes maintenance activities and any identified issues in system logs.
  • Load and update software and firmware on aircraft and avionics systems.
  • Manage lab organization inventory and tool control.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure smooth test operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum4 yearsof experience as a lab technician.
  • Proficiency with hand and machine shop tools as well as electronic testing tools such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
  • Familiarity with aerospace safety protocols tool control and industry standards.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with remote and onsite teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience withNational Instruments (NI) hardware and software including VeriStand LabVIEW and PXI.
  • Knowledge ofhighvoltage systems 600V and higher) batteries and electric motors.
  • Familiarity withLinuxand scripting languages such as Python.
