Pratt & Whitney has an immediate onsite opportunity within the P&W Group FP&A for a Principal Financial Specialist located onsite at our East Hartford Connecticut campus location.
What You Will Do:
P&W Group FP&A is responsible for the reporting and analysis of overall consolidated P&W financial results. The group takes a lead role in supporting RTXs quarterly earnings release and periodic investor communications.
The group is responsible for preparing materials and supporting data packages for the P&W Executive Committee meetings RTX CEO Staff Meetings Long Range Plan / Annual Plan meetings RTX Finance Council etc.
This role will primarily focus on the P&W P&Ls teaming with the business unit FP&A teams to ensure P&W reporting and variance analyses is accurate and tells a concise variance explanation of the variance key drivers.
Key responsibilities include:
Support monthly P&L closing and forecast activities for Pratt & Whitney.
Coordinate prepare and present variance analyses of key business drivers for performance vs. plan forecast and prior year including executive briefings.
Support the Quarterly Earnings process in consolidating P&W results with focus on preparing variance analyses to prior year and prior quarter.
Support major investments review process.
Prepare materials for executive meetings including presentations and supporting documents.
Support the consolidation of P&Ws annual and longrange planning processes.
Participate in the departments process improvement initiatives using the CORE framework.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelors degree in accounting or finance and 5 years of experience in accounting or finance; OR an advanced degree in accounting or finance and 3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
U.S. Citizenshiprequired for program work.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience in OneStream software.
Experience with FP&A.
Independent motivated and able to manage multiple priorities and influence in a matrix organization.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Able to meet critical deadlines and develop and apply solutions and process improvement.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Strong attention to detail quality and accuracy.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers as they are essential to the development of our engines.

The salary range for this role is 82000 USD 164000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
