Im engaged with an innovative USbased Engineering Consultancy who are looking to recruit a skilled Electrical Engineer with proven experience working with Power Electronics.
The role is based in Philadelphia (onsite) and youll be given an incredible opportunity to work on cutting edge projects in the Defense/Government space. This is a chance to genuinely innovate working for an organisation who operate in a range of core areas including networking electronics hardware design and system infrastructure.
In terms of requirements rather than ask you to read a shopping list of skills Ive picked out the main requirements (we can ignore the rest!:
- Proven experience working with Power Electronics i.e. 450VAC/300VDC or higher
- Experience working with any of the following transformers rectifiers solid state relays induction motors switchboards motor controllers etc.
- BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- Knowledge of device characteristics gate driving circuit design thermal design topologies modulation schemes control strategies etc.
- US citizenship
- Active security clearance (Secret Clearance) would be ideal but isnt 100 essential
In terms of location due to the nature of the projects/role you will be expected to be onsite in Philadelphia 5 days per week and this means that the role isnt remote!
In terms of salary theyre ideally looking to pay between $100000 $140000 (depending on experience) so if that falls within your range then give me a shout.
