Are you an experienced Senior Project Manager with a passion for leading complex detention center construction projects Our client a top construction general contractor in Atlanta Ga is seeking a resultsoriented Sr. Project Manager to spearhead critical detention center projects ensuring secure compliant and efficient facilities.

The construction of detention centers demands meticulous planning strict adherence to safety protocols and a deep understanding of government regulations. These facilities must balance security and functionality ensuring the safety of both staff and inmates. As the Sr. Project Manager you will lead critical infrastructure projects overseeing design budgeting and compliance to ensure every facility is secure durable and aligned with industry standards.

Responsibilities of Sr. Project Manager:

As the Sr. Project Manager for detention center projects your responsibilities will include:

  • Project Planning and : Leading the development of detailed project plans timelines and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership: Managing crossfunctional teams including architects engineers and subcontractors to ensure project success.
  • Client Communication: Acting as the primary liaison between clients government agencies and internal teams providing regular updates and addressing issues.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensuring all construction activities meet safety regulations industry standards and government protocols.
  • Risk Management: Identifying potential risks early and implementing solutions to avoid delays and budget overruns.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role you should have:

  • 7 years of experience managing public sector or highsecurity construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of detention center operations safety protocols and government regulations.
  • Proven leadership abilities and expertise in managing multiple largescale projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and problemsolving skills to engage effectively with stakeholders.
  • A bachelors degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering or a related field; PMP certification is preferred.
