Job Summary

Raytheon is seeking an experienced Material Program Manager (MPM) in support of the ESSM Program Portfolio located in Tucson AZ. In this role the candidate will be responsible for the management and of the ESSM FY2123 contract. Additionally the candidate will own relationships across several critical suppliers and/or International Partners. The candidate should have demonstrated program management skills and will be directly accountable for ensuring overall program of materials management in support of our Naval Power customer.

The candidate must also have financial acumen and experience with the ownership and management of EACs. They will also ensure program success to cost/schedule/quality and manage supplier performance in meeting program needs. To be successful the candidate must be a selfstarter capable of developing and achieving organizational and program objectives and must be able to successfully interface with all levels of internal management including supplier management.

This position is an onsite role.

What You Will Do:

  • Overall supply chain ownership of ESSMs FY2123 contract; $1B in material

  • Responsibility for timely and compliant submission of quarterly EACs

  • Ownership of performance across both domestic and international supply bases to include performance quality affordability and delivery

  • Develop and execute strategies to perform and meet the Programs needs and requirements

  • Lead and drive favorable performance across a team of 34 MPMs

  • Lead robust and challenging negotiations across the supplier base to meet the Program objectives

  • Lead by influence in a matrixed organization

  • Have frequent engagement with PMO and our Naval Power Customer through of the contract

  • Provide accurate forecasting and realization of sales and additional financial metrics

  • Creates manages and executes MPS (Material Program Strategy and the MPP (Material Program Plan) to enable successful of program competitiveness and performance; from the front end of the business through contract closure

  • Provides comprehensive Supply Chain support for Gates 011 activities and ensures IPDP compliance for the programs and tailoring when applicable. Key activities typically include: financial management (i.e. EV budgets targets working capital material sales forecasts etc.

  • Monitoring and proactively addressing performance and financial metrics including those related to cost schedule quality and EVMS.

  • Collaborating with other programs to maximize efficiency of program including commonality.

  • Overall ownership of the supplier management process including supplier performance SCM metrics international issues Make/Buy Where strategy strategic agreements and communication of customer flow through requirements such as FAR/DFARS ITAR offset public law quality warranty etc.

  • Ability to travel Internationally 25

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience

  • Experience in supply chain and related systems procurement MRP receiving cost estimating and/or finance

  • Experience with supplier management and/or subcontract management

  • U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience in preparation for and/ or support of negotiations with suppliers

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word Excel and/or Power Point)

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 124000 USD 250000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

This role is a U.S.based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
