Are you a professional seeking a new challenge in a dynamic and fast developing business By joining our office in Diegem Belgium as Outside Sales Engineer you will become part of the Global Sales team.#LIHybrid

An integral part of the role is leading sales activities and achieving the agreed Sales Bookings Gross Profit and strategic targets for the product lines accounts and services in Belgium. Through engaging with our customers and providing high levels of service you will expand and strengthen the relationship.Focus is on selling and promoting products and services concepts and solutions as offered by the Final Control Business Unit and other strategically defined Emerson business units.

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Actively visit customers to promote the sale of Emersons products and services & strategically negotiate keeping in mind long term opportunities
  • Handle sales cycles from lead to closure
  • Manage and further develop Emersons market position by understanding the customers business drivers & goals and keeping up to date with their situations
  • Prepare and be responsible for an annual booking budget by product / value / period
  • Understand and work in team project form for integrated requests
  • Participate in relevant industry events

You anticipate customer needs and provide services that are beyond customer expectations. You use customer insights to drive and guide the development of new offerings.

You create teamwork allowing others across the organization to achieve shared objectives.

For This Role You Will Need:

  • Bachelors degree in engineering / technical field or equivalent experience
  • Proven sales / business development experiencein a commercial role
  • Affinity towards technology
  • CRM & MS Office tools
  • Proficiency in English and Dutch/ Flemish language
  • Availability to travel
  • Driving license

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Matrix organization experience
  • Experience in industrial automation environment; with a good knowledge of similar technical products (e.g. flow control pressure management valves actuators regulators) and understanding of similar industries (e.g. chemical petrochemical oil & gas power life science)
  • Interest in energy efficiency and sustainability
  • Proficiency in French language
