EMBS Engineering is working exclusively with one of our most prestigious longstanding clients who are a market leader in manufacturing mediumsized precision complex components that are supplied to highly regulated advanced manufacturing industries.
Located in Nottingham spanning over multiple sites our client is in the market for a Head of Production to join their business on a permanent basis.
Following tremendous success last year achieving new heights setting new records for sales / turnover it is a fascinating time to join the company who are about to embark on their next phase of growth.
Key Responsibilities:As the Head of Production you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Driving Processes: Leading the development and implementation of robust production processes to ensure consistency quality and efficiency.
- Driving KPIs: Setting monitoring and delivering against key performance indicators to achieve operational excellence.
- Driving Accountability: Fostering a culture of ownership and responsibility across the production team ensuring every team member is aligned with business objectives.
- Driving Efficiencies: Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement reducing waste and optimizing workflows to enhance productivity.
- Improving Customer Satisfaction: Ensuring that quality delivery and service standards consistently exceed customer expectations.
What were looking for:To succeed in this role you will need to bring strong leadership and technical expertise alongside a deep understanding of precision engineering. The ideal candidate will have:
- Extensive Experience: A proven track record in a production or operational leadership role within a precision engineering environment particularly working with precision machined prismatic components.
- Emotional Intelligence: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate inspire and manage teams effectively.
- ManManagement Skills: The ability to lead coach and develop a diverse team ensuring high performance and engagement at all levels.
- Process Improvement Expertise: A datadriven approach to identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions that drive measurable results.
- Customer Focus: A commitment to maintaining and improving customer satisfaction by delivering highquality bespoke products on time and to specification.
