Our freestanding hospital is dedicated solely to the care of children. Childrens Wisconsin is part of the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center Campus along with the MedicalCollege of Wisconsin and Froedtert Hospital. It is a major teaching affiliate of the Medical College and is affiliated with several schools of nursing.Childrens Wisconsin is one of the busiest pediatric hospitals in the country. It is a Level I Trauma Center and houses 13 inpatient units including a 72bed pediatric intensive care unit a 69bed Level IV neonatal intensive care unit and an eightbed Level IV Epilepsy Monitoring unit. The Jane B. Pettit Pain & Headache Center at Childrens Hospital of Wisconsin is a nationally recognized pain program specializing in the evaluation and treatment of youth with chronic pain conditions and headaches. Milwaukee Community: Milwaukee the largest city in Wisconsin is located on Lake Michigans western shore. A metropolitan area with more than 1.5 million people Milwaukee is an affordable comfortable place to live work and play big enough to be exciting and uncongested enough to get around easily.
