Job Description
We are looking for a Machinist to join our team. You will be responsible for producing highprecision fab parts across a variety of CNC machines.
- Set up operate and troubleshoot CNC machines (Haas Mazak) including 3axis machines 5axis machines horizontal mills and lathes.
- Read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and GibbsCAM files to execute machining tasks.
- Perform precise machining operations to create parts that meet exact specifications and tolerances within / 0.005.
- Inspect and verify parts using precision measuring tools (e.g. calipers FARO) to ensure adherence to strict quality standards.
- Assist with inprocess deburr as parts complete machining operations.
- Follow established safety protocols wear all required PPE and maintain a clean organized work area.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Check calibration status of assigned tools and equipment.
- Maintain a work record.
- Perform all other tasks as assigned.
- US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status.
- Minimum 1 year of machining experience and/or relevant technical training program.
- Ability to read and comprehend drawings quality documents etc.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of GD&T.
- Excellent time management with the ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fastpaced scheduledriven environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
Preferred But Not Required:
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; occasionally need to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time; walk and stoop kneel or crouch.
- Experience with multiaxis machining for hightolerance parts.
- Familiarity with relevant materials (e.g. 6061 aluminum copper specialty plastics etc..
