Description

We are looking for a Machinist to join our team. You will be responsible for producing highprecision fab parts across a variety of CNC machines.

  • Set up operate and troubleshoot CNC machines (Haas Mazak) including 3axis machines 5axis machines horizontal mills and lathes.
  • Read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and GibbsCAM files to execute machining tasks.
  • Perform precise machining operations to create parts that meet exact specifications and tolerances within / 0.005.
  • Inspect and verify parts using precision measuring tools (e.g. calipers FARO) to ensure adherence to strict quality standards.
  • Assist with inprocess deburr as parts complete machining operations.
  • Follow established safety protocols wear all required PPE and maintain a clean organized work area.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Check calibration status of assigned tools and equipment.
  • Maintain a work record.
  • Perform all other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status.
  • Minimum 1 year of machining experience and/or relevant technical training program.
  • Ability to read and comprehend drawings quality documents etc.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of GD&T.
  • Excellent time management with the ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fastpaced scheduledriven environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills.

Preferred But Not Required:

  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; occasionally need to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time; walk and stoop kneel or crouch.
  • Experience with multiaxis machining for hightolerance parts.
  • Familiarity with relevant materials (e.g. 6061 aluminum copper specialty plastics etc..
