Who We Are Looking For

The Strategy Intern will be part of the Clearway Strategy Department and will report to the Manager of Strategy. The Strategy team supports organic growth vectors corporate development activities continuous improvement projects and strategic initiatives. This position is part of the 10week Summer Internship Program at Clearway Energy Group beginning in June 2025.

We are looking for first or second year students currently pursuing an MBA or other graduatelevel degree in finance business economics engineering or computer science.

Throughout this summer internship program youll get exposure to real projects and challenges while gaining firsthand professional experience. At Clearway youll gain access to an innovative and fastpaced work environment. Youll also participate in networking and learning events with your fellow intern cohort.

What Youll Be Doing

The Strategy Intern primary responsibilities will include:

• Provide project management conceptual & analytical problem solving on key crossfunctional projects.
• Become familiar with and conduct analyses in financial models.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams on due diligence of new product introduction / new market entry complementary to core business segments.
• Perform adhoc quantitative analyses to support ongoing origination development and financing activities for projects.
• Assist in the preparation of detailed memos and presentations for senior management executive leadership team investment committees or the board of directors.
• Conduct market analysis to identify new growth areas and merger & acquisitions targets.
• Maintain competitive market intelligence for the renewable energy industry.

The Strategy Intern will be assigned an individual project and will present results to the project leadership at the end of the summer.

What Youll Bring

• Strong quantitative skills proficient in MS Excel and MS Power Point familiar/comfortable with financial models.
• Ability to clearly communicate concepts and support hypotheses with data.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn about renewable project development financing structures and power markets
• Strong interpersonal skills. Youre willing to ask lots of questions listen to your colleagues and contribute your ideas.
• Selfmotivated dependable and accountable. This means showing up being present and being eager to dive into the workday. If you ever feel like youve completed all your tasks and have time to spare youre eager to speak up and ask what else you can do.
• Ability to work independently multitask and take ownership over projects and assignments. Youre comfortable taking initiative asking questions and speaking up.

What Would Be Nice

• Experience in banking structured project finance or management consulting is helpful though not required.
