What we are looking for:
Yazaki is looking for aData Management Reporting Specialistto join our Purchasing team inCanton MI. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative and actiondriven environment making lasting impacts on the organization. This position is hybrid.
What you will be doing:
- Understand and improve Yazaki and Global Purchasing business data and reporting by communicating with business owners and learn about processes and data gaps/needs while working crossfunctionally with business customers and IT to build and clarify data requirements needed to continuously improve overall processes and reporting options.
- Fully support customers by training on data provided and reporting options delivered.
- Participate in Data Management projects in close cooperation with management global partners and IT by working with customers to gather business requirements and develop agreed upon plan to deliver request setting accurate expectations.
- Meet with business stakeholders to understand data needs provide recommendations for improvements and propose dynamic solutions to manual processes to create efficiencies.
- Generate and analyze data reports per demand including KPI metrics general analysis dashboard views and identify other areas for improvement.
- Become the SME for Purchasing data elements PowerBI for visualization and reporting and work with end user customer to address any Master Data issues.
What you will bring to the table:
- Bachelors degree or in Supply Chain Management or IT related field or equivalent experience
- 2 to 4 years of experience granting a broad understanding of automotive business processes and the automotive supply chain market
- SQL Microsoft BI Microsoft Access Visual Basic experience required
- Travel: domestic and international as required
- Ability to resolve issues by applying creative thinking
- Ability to think and act logically under pressure
- Ability to resolve issues or propose resolutions to responsible parties
- Must work independently and collaboratively
