Minimum Qualifications
Masters degree in Special Education or closely related fields from an accredited institution with an emphasis in learning disabilities and/or mild/moderate disabilities. A minimum of 3 years of teaching intervention delivery or direct service experience with diverse K12 school populations. Experience teaching in culturally and linguistically diverse settings. Evidence of effective instruction at the university level with a demonstrated commitment to inclusive education. Ability to teach courses in two or more of the following areas: learning disabilities mild/moderate disabilities prevention and intervention strategies for positive school environments. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
