Our preclinical research business unit offers an integrated comprehensive stateoftheart portfolio of services in large animal species including pathology. Due to continuing growth of our activity we are seeking a veterinary pathologist to integrate the pathology team a very enthusiastic group of four people committed to deliver unparalleled scientific technical excellence and outstanding customer service. We work in a highly stimulating environment and provide substantive contribution to medical innovation and human health in cardiovascular research (cardiac valves stent etc. neurology surgical sealants implantable patches or orthopaedic implants etc. The candidate will have the opportunity to work with highly skilled veterinary surgeons veterinary experts and staff and to share our values of excellence team spirit and ethical concerns. This fulltime position is based in Paris (France).
Key duties and responsibilities Writing of macroscopic and histological protocols Necropsy and gross examination in large animal species Histopathological evaluation of preclinical studies in ovine porcine canine or bovine models Interaction with scientists & sponsors to communicate the significance of the pathologic data Contribution to improvement of quality procedures.
Qualifications Veterinary pathologist ECVP/ACVP Certification or Board eligible candidates PhD would be an advantage Oral and written English required. French is a necessary asset Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills Educational capabilities and desire to transmit knowledge needed
