Job Description

Role: Program Manager Wellness Center
Reports to: Director Wellness Center
Supervises: Case Managers Support Specialists
Department: Mental Health Wellness Center
Location: Wellness Center 345 South San Pedro Street LA CA 90013
Status: Full Time; Management; Exempt (salary)
Hours: Monday through Friday; 8:00am to 4:30 pm

SUMMARY:

In collaboration with the Wellness Center Director and Assistant Director the Wellness Center Program Manager will oversee the Wellness Center program for adults. The Program Manager will monitor and ensure that the Wellness Center provides highquality services that meet or exceed required contract funder and agency standards. The Program Manager will also provide administrative supervision for direct practice case managers and interns. The Wellness Center Program Manager will additionally function as an intake coordinator for community members seeking services.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. LPS Designated to participate in initiating 5150 involuntary psychiatric holds and takes the lead with crisis management.
2. Participates in the supervision of student interns in collaboration with Director of Internship Training as an assigned Field Instructor.
3. If 2 years postlicensure participates in the clinical supervision of Masters level staff that are BBS Registered.
4. In collaboration with supervisor monitor all administrative aspects of agencys Department of Mental Health (DMH) contracted OCS program and contract including billing and contract maximization in compliance with contract goals and outcomes in a timely manner.
5. Complete required reporting to funders as outlined by contract requirements
6. Ensure all clinical and mental health staff documentation and data collection is complete timely accurate and current in agency records and electronic databases
7. Provide individual and team supervision support and performance evaluations for all assigned staff
8. Assist in recruitment selection training supervision and evaluation of direct service staff
9. Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure proper staff orientation training and audit preparedness for all clinical and mental health contracts
10. Ensure adherence to funding source contract and performance standards
11. Maintain a current thorough knowledge of community resources and utilize these to provide services to clients
12. Effectively represent agency at funding partner or collaborative meetings

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Valid and current California Licensed Clinical Social Worker Licensed Marriage Family Therapist Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Licensed Clinical Psychologist in good standing with licensing board
2. LPS Designated to participate in crisis management team to initiate 5150 involuntary psychiatric holds for FSP Clients.
3. Willingness to supervise program student interns as a Field Instructor and/or provide individual or group supervision to MastersLevel Staff.
4. Outstanding clinical review skills
5. Strong training project management and teambuilding skills
6. Able to behave with sensitivity tact politeness and responsiveness with staff and clients
7. Detail oriented with excellent time management organizational written verbal interpersonal presentation and computer skills
8. Knowledge of trauma informed services housing first and harm reduction methodologies.
9. Experience providing administrative and clinical supervision
10. Experience working with people living with mental illness and/or substance abuse
11. Contract and quality assurance experience
12. Proficient in Microsoft Word Outlook Excel PowerPoint and database applications

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

1. Combination of field and office environment
2. Regularly required to sit stand bend; occasionally lift or carry up to 35 lbs.
3. On occasion walk or drive to different local sites
4. Will necessitate working in busy and loud environments
5. Will be exposed to elements like cold heat dust noise and odor
6. May need to bend stoop twist and sit throughout the day
