This pivotal role as Mechanical Assembler IV Team Lead immerses you in a highstakes manufacturing environment where youll lead a team in the meticulous assembly of highpressure oxygen cylinders on a large scale.
This position operates on a 4x10 schedule MondayThursday with the possibility of required overtime.
This position includes a $3500 Sign On Bonus for new employees.
What You Will Do:
- Transform designs into reality. Read interpret and follow blueprints diagrams engineering drawings specifications bills of materials and other written instructions to ensure precision in assembly and production.
- Master the tools of the trade. Operate hand tools electrical tools hand cutters measuring equipment and light equipment with skill and accuracy.
- Stay organized and efficient. Maintain an accurate inventory of products in workstations to keep production on track.
- Ensure quality at every step. Perform meticulous quality checks identify defects and document findings to uphold high standards.
- Adapt and innovate. Rework and repair assembled equipment and products based on engineering specification changes.
- Prioritize safety and excellence. Perform all tasks in compliance with quality standards and established safety protocols.
- Contribute to a safe workspace. Maintain a clean organized and safe work area for yourself and your team.
- Meet physical demands. Lift up to 25 lbs as needed and work in a standing position for up to 10 hours per day to maintain production efficiency.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- HS diploma and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED 6 years of relevant experience is required.
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen permanent resident or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: We Prefer:
- Prior assembly/manufacturing experience
