Your impact: As a key member of our Team you will perform precipitation static high voltage and high current tests on a variety of aircraft components providing invaluable insight and design guidance in lightning protection to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design testing and development of lightning protection devices and products for aircraft including Static Dischargers Transtrike Diverter Strips Antennas and Lightning Arrestors.
- Supervise and manage the high voltage Lightning and Electrostatics laboratory.
- Perform Lightning Direct Effects testing in accordance with MILSTD RTCA and FAA specifications.
- Review and prepare technical documents including test procedures reports and technical audits.
- Investigate procedural noncompliance identify root causes and develop procedures to avoid repeat incidents.
- Develop and prepare data packages for FAA PMA TSO & STC.
- Review and approve Qualification Test Reports & Certification Test Plans.
- Prepare Technical Statements and Service Bulletins in support of customer service sales and marketing.
- Collaborate within crossfunctional teams to develop solutions that exceed customers expectations and win new business and program opportunities.
- Perform P Static Testing.
- Provide training as necessary to support product development.
