Overview
Founded in 2016 Tube Supply provides quality steel tube and bar in alloy stainless and carbon for oil and gas applications including drilling completions production and downhole tools. Our steel tubular and bar products are tailored specifically to meet the demands of the oil and gas industry including high pressure high temperature (HPHT) and sour (H2S) well environments. Tube Supply clients are leading oil and gas service companies OEMs and manufacturing centers spanning as far as Canada and Mexico in addition to the United States.

Responsibilities
Description of Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Operations Sales and freight vendors to effectively ship orders and maintain OTD (ontimedelivery).
- Maintain a clean and orderly shipping office while building a team environment.
- Negotiates rates with outside carriersBrokers builds new carriers contacts with contract carriers and ensures their equipment meets DOT safety standards.
- Assist in tagging material for outbound shipment.
- Allocate and deduct inventory (to include quality inspection of shop ticket paperwork).
- Create shipping documents distribute them to drivers and maintain traceability of the documents.
- Adhere to and enforce all company policies and procedures found in the Employee Handbook
- Assist your manager with any other projects they may assign to you
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
- Excellent leadership qualities 2 years leadership role experience)
- Experience in the movement of freight 2 years preferred)
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Previous experience with negotiating freight rates
- Exceptional organizational skills
