Department Summary
What does a Commercial Finance Director do at Hogarth
This role is based in London but the team and responsibilities are global.
You will share responsibility for the performance of a portfolio of highprofile global clients with other key client leadership team members.
What does a Commercial Finance Director do at Hogarth
- You will provide commercial thought leadership and be responsible for problem solving and key decision making
- You will lead the business through the commercial landscape and help the company achieve and maintain a trajectory of profitable growth
- You will understand advertising production help exploit new business opportunities and bring innovation to the ways of working
- You will become part of the client leadership team(s) with FDlike responsibilities of that business that will include budgeting P&L ownership and analysis.
- You will formulate document and present for approval to senior management client strategic plans budgets forecasts and results
- As well as developing relationships with clients directly you will work closely with the account teams to ensure all finance related interactions with the client give the best possible outcomes
- You will take the lead role in contract preparation renewal modification etc. and be responsible for guiding and ensuring full contractual compliance
- You will develop pricing strategies by finding mutually beneficial pricing solutions. You will be expected to help the account teams innovate with new business models
- Working alongside the Client Leads you prepare and present new business proposals and commercial propositions and be actively involved in the presentation of these to clients
- Our locationagnostic approach requires decision making to be globally coordinated globally optimal and locally sympathetic. Flexibility to be available as required by the client in terms of timing is important so some out of hours commitments will be a feature of the role
Reporting lines and key stakeholders
- This role reports to the Londonbased Global Head of Commercial and Pricing.
- You will be managing another member of the team.
- You will work closely with Global Commercial Finance team Operations Client Management and New Business teams.
Requirements
- Qualified Accountant (ACA ACCA CIMA)
- Experience of working in a commercial financial role in a relevant industry / professional services with multi country experience
- Team management and leadership skills. Effective project management
- Effective financial modelling
- Strong operational awareness
- Strategic approach to decisionmaking
- Ambitious and driven
- Comfortable in a dynamic environment; adaptable
- Accuracy attention to detail
- Good communicator both oral and written
