Job Description
TAK Broadband is a leading endtoend U.S. fiber broadband network construction contractor operating in 42 states. We are seeking a Director of Insurance to join our team in our Sioux Falls SD office. The Director of Insurance is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of the companys insurance programs including pricing strategy claims management and overall risk mitigation. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep industry knowledge strong analytical skills and a proven ability to lead and motivate a team.

The Role
- Pricing & Underwriting: Develop and implement competitive pricing strategies oversee underwriting to align with risk guidelines and analyze market trends to optimize profitability
- Claims Management: Ensure efficient claims processing implement costreduction strategies while maintaining customer service and manage vendor relationships
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial operational and reputational risks monitor program effectiveness and ensure regulatory compliance
- Leadership & Budgeting: Foster a collaborative work environment set performance goals and manage the insurance program budget including expected losses
- Strategic Planning: Align insurance strategies with company objectives contribute to overall business planning and stay informed on industry trends
- Communication & Collaboration: Partner with internal leadership and external stakeholders including regulators brokers and reinsurers to support companywide insurance initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
- 10 years of experience in the insurance industry with a focus on pricing claims management and risk management
- Bachelors degree in business Finance Risk Management or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred
- Proven track record of success in leading and managing insurance teams
- Deep understanding of insurance principles practices and regulations
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Excellent communication interpersonal and presentation skills
- Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions
- Experience with all lines for Property and Casualty insurance preferred
- Relevant professional designations a plus
- Must provide a valid governmentissued photo ID for verification; a drivers license is required if the role involves driving
- Passing of all preemployment requirements (MVR Background Check Drug Screen)
