Job Description

Hocking Hills Lodge and Conference Center located inside Hocking Hills State Park is seeking candidates for Line Cook positions forour brand new State of the Art kitchen!

Hocking Hills Lodge and Conference Center is a brand new 81room lodge with 40 cabins a fullservice restaurant & lounge and banquet facilities to accommodate up to 200 guests. More property information is available at www.GreatOhioLodges.

Hocking Hills State Park is one of the most visited State Parks in the country requiring a level of attention to detail and service to meet the guests expectations and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Preparefood served using established production procedures
  • Determine amount and type of food and supplies required using production systems
  • Learn menus recipes preparation and presentation.
  • Comply with established sanitation standards personal hygiene and health standards
  • Correctly prepare all food served following standard recipes and special diet orders
  • Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours so that excellence qualitytemperature and appearance of food is preserved
  • Keep work area neat and clean at all times; clean and maintain equipment used in foodpreparation
  • Prep all food for next shift and for the following day
  • Work with servers to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve complaints about food service asneeded
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1year experience cooking at a restaurant or fullservice hotel
  • Culinary schooldegree preferred
  • Availability to work nights weekends holidays depending on business needs
