Healthcare Assistant Outpatients& Preassessment
Ipswich Hospital Bank Part time Includes weekend work
Up to 14.50 per hour depending on experience
Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an adhoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

As a HealthcareAssistant in our Outpatients/Preassessment department at our hospitalyoull bring relevant experience a keen eye for detail and a flexible approach. You demonstrate patience focus and excellent communication skills.A real team player you have the diligence IT literacy and passion for development and training to make a difference. You will be qualified with an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care with relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting.
The Role
As a Healthcare Assistant in ourOutpatients/Preassessment department you will:
Put patient care first you will enjoy time to really get to know the people who are our patients. By understanding them as individuals you can better meet their needs
Use your organizational skills to the full as you take responsibility for administrative duties
What are we looking for in a HCA:
A good telephone manner
Computer and database skills
The ability to meet deadlines and follow instructions
You will be qualified to NVQ Level 2 or 3 with relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting
Phlebotomy skills
