Job Description
Scrum Master is:
responsible for delegating tasks appropriately encouraging collaboration transparency and coordinating the correct deliverables in a timely manner meeting all quality standards and milestones.
Identifies and procures all necessary resources to meet smaller tactical project specifications. Facilitates sprint planning meetings and daily standup meetings for smaller tactical projects. Provides burndown and other weekly reports. He/she will ensure the entire team supports the implemented Scrum process and coach the team members on Agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
Mandatory Requirements:
- Strong expertise in translating business requirements into wellstructured user stories that are clear actionable and aligned with Agile best practices. They should be able to effectively break down complex requirements into smaller manageable user stories that accurately reflect the enduser needs and business objectives.
- Defining precise and measurable acceptance criteria to ensure that each user story is testable and meets the desired functionality. This includes outlining expected outcomes edge cases and conditions for successful implementation.
- Proficient in establishing a clear Definition of Done (DoD) for each user story ensuring that it meets quality standards passes all necessary testing phases and is ready for deployment. The Definition of Done should cover aspects such as code completeness unit testing integration testing documentation updates and stakeholder validation.
- Coordinate and deliver highquality outcomes meeting all timelines milestones and standards.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning daily standups sprint reviews retrospectives and backlog grooming ensuring they are outcomedriven rather than just procedural.
- Actively track project progress using reporting and metrics such as burndown charts and velocity tracking translating insights into actionable improvements.
- Identify and secure necessary resources to meet tactical project requirements ensuring smooth .
- Coach and mentor team members on realworld Agile practices fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Proactively resolve conflicts and remove obstacles fostering a productive work environment where team members take ownership of deliverables.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external communication with stakeholders and customers ensuring alignment on priorities.
- Collaborate closely with product owners to actively manage and refine backlogs incorporating feedback and addressing evolving project needs.
- Enforce quality standards to ensure that all sprint deliverables meet the required benchmarks.
- Continuously drive the team toward higher levels of Agile maturity implementing Agile in a way that enhances efficiency adaptability and innovation.
Experience:
- 0103 years of experience in a scrum master role Agile Scrum masters in planning and delivering technology solutions
- Familiarity with software development
- Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done user stories automated testing backlog refinement)
- Good knowledge of Agile frameworks and tools: Scrum Kanban Azure DevOps Jira and Confluence
