Job Description

The Department of History Sociology Geography GIS at Tarleton State University seeks to hire an adjunct in Geography. We are looking for masters and doctoralqualified candidates to teach undergraduate courses in Geography. Interested candidates must have a Ph.D. or MA in hand in the field of Geography or a related field with at least 18 graduate hours in Geography.

Salary: Commensurate with Qualifications and Course Level

Required Education/Experience: Minimum qualifications include a Masters degree in the discipline or a closely related area and a minimum of 18 graduate hours in the discipline.

Preferred Education/Experience: Prior teaching experience at the collegiate level is desired.

All positions are securitysensitive. Applicants are subject to a criminal history investigation and employment is contingent upon the institutions verification of credentials and/or other information required by the institutions procedures including the completion of the criminal history check.
