About Robin AI
What will you do as a research intern
You will experiment with cutting edge research on how to best solve pressing issues surfacing in the legal domain. Your work will have direct user impact as the end goal will be to deploy your shiny new techniques in our Robin AI platform as well as publishing your work in a top tier venue. You will get to collaborate with other researchers lawyers and an array of crossfunctional roles to create applied research methods covering a variety of topics (RL agentic workflows interpretability automatic evaluation and more!
Your daytoday responsibilities:
Staying uptodate with the latest advancements in AI and legal tech research.
Writing technical documentation for implemented methods and approaches.
Creating proofofconcept implementations to validate research ideas.
Building large scale data pipelines running and tracking experiments using your methods of choice.
Contributing to the development of evaluation metrics and benchmarks.
Collaborating with other researchers engineers product managers designers and lawyers to make sure your approach and techniques solve real world problems for our users.
Documenting your findings either through blog posts or research papers.
Presenting research findings and progress updates to the team.
Ideally you should have the following qualifications:
MSc or PhD in NLP multiagent systems reinforcement learning ML optimisation interpretability or related fields.
Experience working with LLMs or research experience in NLP RL (reinforcement learning) multiagent systems.
Have contributed top publications in the past. Even better at least one publication accepted in top tier conferences or venues (NeurIPS ICML ICLR TMLR etc).
Experience (or desire to be) working in multidisciplinary teams.
Quick to prototype or implement techniques mentioned in papers.
